The electric bug is busting my chops. I can dodge him all day but it leaves no time to attack nvm beat him.
I feel like since getting the double jump, doing wall jumps is a total crapshoot. It’s like half the time I just fall. And it’s fucking be big time in this double chozo fight
Yeah, the jump upgrades are all a little wacky on my end. I’ll cop to maybe not being the best with timing always, but there are seriously some times where I have to stop to make sure the battery on my joycon is still doing alright haha. I think sometimes I’m just not gaining the momentum in one direction needed to trigger it
Pressing left on the Dpad to expand the map in game is a nice feature. Wish I would’ve realized you can do that earlier.
I still think it’s not enough, but I have Dory brain so I spent half my play through looking at the map
If I’m going a long distance I found myself dropping a few pins on the route to my destination. Doing the expanded map usually zooms out enough to see my next pin. I really liked the Red Dead Redemption 2 app where I could have a real time map running on my phone. This game could really use something like that.
Just taking my time with this still. Playing Yakuza 0, Disco Elysium, and now Back 4 Blood along with this. My backlog is never ending.
Without spoiling anything, can you get all the endings on one play through? also somebody give me cheat codes to beat the twin chozo soldier fight
My reflexes are pure shit , so QuickTime events piss me off to no end, so the parry things you have to time in some boss fights are killing me
I'll parry for days, I love parrying (other than the EMMI's, those are like a 50/50 shot.) When a boss doesn't have any attacks that you can parry, that's when I'm in trouble
I am MLG to the core I dunno, I think I can pull it off with some regularity? I also don't get caught very often, though the one in the water definitely did (and probably still will? didn't kill that one yet)
After I beat it for the first time the other day, I tried going through it all as fast as I could. I got under 4hrs which is one achievement, but only about 35% of items collected (still had more than enough health/missiles for the final boss imo). So idk how someone could possibly collect *everything* in under 4hrs, considering how much time you’d probably have to spend backtracking But I’m probably wrong and there’s definitely some speed runner out there who has already done it easily lol
Think I have to accept I just need to go get more energy and missiles. Think the boss battle is amazing and I'm not even slightly annoyed at the game, just not at my best gaming wise right now
