Found the amiibo at a target today. Still haven’t got the game yet though

 

I have finally reached the last boss. I have attempted it once and it honestly felt like I am fighting a Street Fighter V character lol

extremely cool fight though, seems doable.

 

I just beat the robot with the sword that killed the bird guy who explains the whole story for you can anyone tell me how close to the end I am? I’m worried that I’m close to beating it and I don’t want it to end.

Yeah I know, but I can’t find any that I can get to. Seems I’m turned around. Gonna look at a walkthrough

 

Ooook I shot one part of the wall off that I needed to, but I missed there was more of it to shoot off

 

Beat the first boss

 

I'm stuck in Metroid dread I cannot go anywhere. I have this thing in my way that won't die and if I go to cataris I'll burn up. The other paths I can't get through because I don't have the ball ability.

 

Expect that to happen a lot

 

go into the furthest room you can go in cataris. go top left then shoot the floor.

 

Had to look it up didn't realize I could go left when I got to cataris

 

I was just joking lol

 

This game is seriously so good. And it keeps getting better looking the further you go. Really not in a hurry to beat it lol

If it makes you feel any better I’ve been stuck in the exact same spot for the past 45 minutes so you’re not alone haha

 

I’ve been running around for like an hour I have no idea where to go. I got the grappling hook, went to the green area and got the pulse radar but there’s nothing else I can do there.

 

Just how difficult is this game? If I was able to beat fusion and zero mission will I be able to beat this? I like Metroid games and want to buy this I’ve just heard it’s very very difficult

 

In retrospect it's actually not so bad...

 

Figured out where to go but absolutely fuck this underwater boss

 

I think if you beat those you'll be fine. I think this Metroid has just attracted more hype, so more people that aren't used to it.

 

The comments about the difficulty from all over the internet have been way overblown tbh. It's not very hard at all. The only "difficulty" in the game really is figuring out the patterns for boss fights. But even that difficulty is illusory because it's not actually "difficulty" it's just not knowing what to do yet. Once you know what to do, actually executing it is not very difficult at all really.

Is it more challenging than other 2D Metroid games? Probably. But I really wouldn't call the game difficult if you have experience playing these kinds of games. I've really been surprised at how people have been talking about the difficulty of the game in like reviews and stuff.
