Love them but why are we doing greatest hits albums in the year of our lord 2024? Label commitments? Can’t imagine anyone being excited about it.

 

It probably would shock you how many people actually do care

 

They put out volume one a couple years ago. It’s exclusive to physical copies, so I don’t think it has anything to do with the label. They are just doing it themselves. If you look at the tracklist, they picked it themselves as well.

in their newsletter, Emily said something along the lines of they’ve gotten minor love from the radio overtime but like what’s a greatest hits? they could just pick whatever they feel like of the songs they feel that represent them the best or fan favorites

Received my copy of GH V2 in the mail today and it’s beautiful , I love the cloudy silver variant it goes well with the gold variant they did for V1 a couple years ago

Welp. Selling my Toronto tix bc I was mostly going for bloc party , who rarely plays in our area

(it continues to day they are still playing the Toronto show, without BP)

 

i thought the tour was still happening just without metric? that's what i got from their e-mail that metric was just playing a small Canadian run now

 

it is , but BP isn’t playing Toronto at all now

 

i wonder what happened 'production wise' for the tour to fall apart..

 

bloc party / blonde redhead would have been a gig I'd actually consider going to....sad!
