If your list was all hardwired and death magnetic, no one would cry foul lol. Besides Fuel, it took me awhile to get intonload/reload as well. What helped for me was jamming my all time favorite cd, S&M (basically just a live greatest hits) and they have a handful of songs from there that sounded really good and pulled me in.
Hell yeah! I had never heard of Devils Dance, Bleeding Me or Outlaw Torn but were so good on the album, it made me listen to those albums all the way through.
Was much tougher than I imagined: 1. The Outlaw Torn 2. Fixxxer 3. Spit Out The Bone 4. Fuel 5. Until It Sleeps 6. All Nightmare Long 7. Bleeding Me 8. No Leaf Clover 9. Hero of the Day 10. Moth Into Flame
been running through their discography for the first time in a number of years and god damn, they’re pretty much perfect through black album.
I know, right? It was like 8 years between shows the last time and now I'll be seeing them twice in 18 months!! Granted I'm gonna have to drive 3.5 hours each way, but it'll be worth it.
They came to my town last time and on this one, coming 3 hours away so I'll gladly make the drive again. Normally the only Mid West date is Chicago so I'll jump at this chance!
I'm bummed I missed out on the "Best Late-Career Songs" lists, so fuck it I'm making one: 1. No Leaf Clover 2. The Unforgiven II 3. All Nightmare Long 4. The Memory Remains 5. I Disappear 6. Until It Sleeps 7. Am I Savage? 8. The House That Jack Built 9. Hero of the Day 10. The Unnamed Feeling/Spit Out the Bone
Hero of the Day is so good it hurts. I Disappear is sublime, especially when you consider they put it on a soundtrack.
Agreed on all of this and how on Earth did they not put "No Leaf Clover" on Load or Reload but made room for "The Thorn Within" or "Slither" or "Wasting My Hate" Edit: Fuck, "The Cure" is their worst song outside of St. Anger. It's so bad I literally blocked it out.
James singing “are you unforgiven too?” In “the unforgiven II” is so groan worthy to me Also I feel like so many people forgot about the Metallica & DMX collab
Aw really? I think Unforgiven is a classic and up there with their best. I'd rank them Unforgiven I > III > II Then I'd rank Godsmacks Voodoo trilogy which is Voodoo > Serenity > Voodoo II
I always figured Godsmack just wanted to be Metallica so I figured this thread was an ok spot to drop their name.
