U3 and S&R are my standouts from magnetic. garage is a solid album. they've done more than enough covers to do a second album, but i'm sure it not high up the band's priority list.
While I wouldn't describe them as messes, the majority of songs are several minutes too long. Which is why ie. Lux Aeterna and Hardwired are in the top songs on their respective albums.
“I wanted to pay my respects to James Hetfield, who I think is an amazing guitar player, and Lars Ulrich, who was an excellent songwriter”: Dave Mustaine breaks down Megadeth’s final album, track by track – and why he paid tribute to Metallica
same conundrum every year: so hard to narrow down metallica into a 12-15 min set. a medley of puppets, fuel, the bridge to creep, bells, the second half of one, and sandman maybe?
I honestly prefer RTL and AJFA to it. That said, favorite song is undoubtedly the title track. It's perfect in every way.
While I have some different “favorite” Metallica songs, Master of Puppets (the song) may be the best embodiment of them. It’s a hell of a journey. That or One
The slow bridge of Master of Puppets (the song) with the harmonizing guitar lead is one of my favorite pieces of music ever
i gave up after the second day of presales. i just wanted a pair of the cheapest seats in the nosebleeds, but after being 200k in line, i got dejected to the point of just not caring. i can't win em all. besides, the setlists here in the US are tame compared to setlists overseas, so i'll try my luck elsewhere.
