They're live streaming their 40th anniversary concerts December 17th and 18th on Amazon Prime.

I think last nights set is supposed to be on Prime at some point.

 

I thought these were gonna be available to stream next day, but apparently not. Bummed I missed them

I watched both shows and enjoyed them, but outside of Fixxxer, the sets were fairly predicatable and they didn't have any guests. Seemed too similar to a regular Met show imo.

The 30th anniversary was much more exciting in comparison.

 

agreed. but with all those guests, there's a reason there isn't much available outside of buying soundboard audio from livemetallica.com.

i'm expecting a vinyl bundle or a blu ray of both nights towards the end of the year. i was fortunate enough to be in attendance for night one (the better of the two shows):
