Just saw that it's at AT&T. I'm torn now. I swore I'd never go there for a concert but I've been a Metallica stan for 20+years.
I'm so happy they decided to have it at Jean-Drapeau when it was rumoured to be at the Olympic Stadium (which is a piece of shit). Prices (Canadian Dollars): Zone 3 - General Admission - $100.50 (all in) *limited quantities Zone 2 - General Admission - $159.50 (all in) *limited quantities Zone 1 - General Admission - $181.50 (all in) *limited quantities VIP - General Admission - $286.50 (all in) *very limited quantities

Man, I'm super bummed now. I can't justify paying $200 for a ticket to see them at a GIANT stadium with terrible sound. Plus parking is a nightmare and will be at minimum $50, no hyperbole.
I doubt it. I'm not sure of the size of these other venues, but there's no way they'll sell out AT&T stadium. It holds like 100k.
im pretty sure the enitre tour will sell out. its fucking metallica and they havent done a proper us tour in 7 years

Last time they played the Festival D'Ete de Quebec (in 2008) they hit well over 100k and had to start turning people away from what was technically an open venue. On their Death Magnetic tour they played the Bell Center (the biggest arena in the NHL) two nights in a row, both sold out. I'm not risking it and buying my ticket early.
united center in chicago holds more people the the bell center. the united center has been the leader in attendance per game per seasons since like 2009 when their massive sell out streak started. now where metallica is playing solider field that holds 65k but idk what for concerts it all depends on the stage set up and how much of the stadium they use
The off dates are likely a combination of them being old and not wanting to bang out shows in a row, the necessity to move a massive stage, and probably some added shows if and when others sell out. But they won't add many more, I don't think.
I dunno guys. On the Death Magnetic tour, the venue they played here was a 20k cap and almost sold out, but there were still seats in the upper balcony available. Not sure how they're gonna sell out 100k venues now. Maybe in some markets...
I think I've heard in interviews that they had intended to structure it this way to maximize visits home with family
pretty unexcited to spend like $200, but I haven't seen Metallica in about 15 years. I need to get field tickets for this one
Lol your outta your god damn mind if you think your going to find cheap tixs on stub hub for this. Why not just get tixs when they go on sale on Friday
