The whole 2 different opening acts each night in each city seems like a logistical nightmare. I guess it helps that these dates are spread out over like 16 months though.

They may be planning on adding additional shows in between, but scheduling all shows to be two days apart instead of two consecutive dates just adds to the headache it must already be.

Hopefully a full set of St. Anger............ JK.

All jokes aside I'm digging this new track. One of the first bands I ever got into when I was a kid. Those first 5 albums were big for me.

I do appreciate the newfound interest in the band due to Eddie Munson haha.

Does that say Pantera for some of those dates? Who is playing for Dime and Vinnie?

Song sounds like a re-imagining of Hit The Lights, such similar riff/solo/melody. Do not love the operatic choral vocals but I'll check the record out.

Never really listened to Ice Nine Kills, but just figured they were a screamo scene band. Never knew they were big enough to open for Metallica. Weren't they the guys that made those Fuck Jason Tate shirts? lol

We’re off to a good start with the new song as it sounds like an actual snare drum was used. Some retro vibes to the double bass and riffs. I dig it.

Should’ve called the album Napster. People don’t forget.

Absolutely do not understand the appeal of this band but I guess to their credit they have found some kind of niche with the horror stuff.

Admittedly never listened to a ton of Metallica but I sure hated the vocals on this track.

My favorite is the lyrics for Invisible Kid:

    "Invisible kid
    Never see what he did
    Got stuck where he hid
    Fallen through the grid"

    Kirk is so poetic.

Did Kirk write those lyrics or is this a joke I just don't get?
