I have no clue why the last release was so disliked, they really nailed that 80's/British kind of sound on like "Enemy" and "True Monument"
Yeah, I love the last one. Haven't spent enough time with this one, really like what I've heard. It's definitely scuzzier, a couple moments that took me back to the Strange Songs days
Yeah, this is a band that really fell off in the eyes of what seemed like everybody a few years ago. Maybe I'm just crazy and only referring to the old AP people, haha. Have actually never listened to these guys, maybe this Strange Songs era is where to start?
Start with Children of Desire, it's a good meeting point of their noisier older stuff, and their pop stuff
Children of Desire and Strange Songs are my personal favorited but I love em all and consider them one of the best bands going
This is my first of theirs (though I vividly recall having Children of Desire in my iTunes for a long time but don't think I ever listened). This is basically all I've been listening to the last 24 hours.
Too Free - Love in High Demand (February 21, 2020) • forum.chorus.fm Carson Cox's new band. Doesn't appear to be singing in it, still cool
