If we don't turn this around, it's hard to see how we can compete for the title. Yes, we've had the hardest start of the big teams by far, but Liverpool will keep getting better as the players gel and on the occasions that they do slip up, we need to capitalise.

Common sense says if Cash's one in the earlier game wasn't given, this one shouldn't be given either.

 

I don't particularly mind that one either way, but it makes a mockery of the "arm in a natural position" thing. I wasn't aware a sliding tackle required a mast.

 

Was hard to see the deflection in the first couple of replays. Didn’t see it until the last slow mo one. Yeah probably not a pen given that

 

Fulham didn’t get a similar one earlier. I don’t know how I feel about it tbh. I don’t think I like it, but in this case I think the deflection takes it closer to not a penalty.
