I love this jersey though. It’s a shame our best kits the last decade have all gone to shit seasons.

 

My god, get Amorim out of the club. United are the easiest team in Europe to play against. Entirely predictable, easy to score against, terrible at set pieces.

 

I wish they’d show the refcam footage as players are coming up to whine.

I think the rule is it’s only a yellow now, so long as there was an attempt to play the ball.

Which, there definitely wasn’t. Insane that both the referee AND var thought that wasn’t a red.

 

It’s literally written in the rules that pulling a player back is a red card offence in that situation lol

I don’t know how much of all this is on Almiron, but he has to go either way. Yeah the squad has a couple spots that need to be improved, but it’s still a pretty strong team. It shouldn’t look this hopeless.

I get United have structural problems. I get you can't just keep sacking managers, and eventually need to back one. But picking the wrong guy to back is even worse. A year now, and literally not one aspect you can pick as offering any hope that things might come good.

He needs to go immediately. Been obvious for weeks.

 

Three at the back but absolutely no defensive structure. A number ten and one of the most limited footballers I’ve ever seen as a center midfield pairing.

A pragmatic 433 with Bruno and Kobbie as 8s ahead of Casemiro/Ugarte, Cunha and Mbeumo either side of Sesko. At the very least that should have any decent manager challenging for a European place this season.

 

Chelsea going against their academy today. Should be a fun match.
