I’m torn. I don’t want to hate on Ange. But Forest are near the top of my shit list right now.

Ange tanking Forest and Spurs end up getting MGW for less than we bid this summer would be a fun outcome though.

 

Getting nervous about tonight. Could see us getting an absolute hammering from Barca.

Nope. And his injury is worse than Spain reported back to the club originally.

 

Not sure what else Kane needs to do in order to be a legit contender for the award. His name has picked up some steam but still seen as a long shot.

 

It basically doesn’t matter how good you are, it’s how much that helped your team win the CL/WC it seems. Which ensures only a handful ever have a shot, which seems stupid.

Simon Mignolet just committed a foul that was a pen. Yelled at the ref. Then saved the pen. His celebration for the save was yelling at the ref again. Gets a yellow. Then leaves with an injury. All within about 5 mins.

 

Hojlund doing well v City tonight is nailed on, right? Won't be watching as the Newcastle v Barca game looks too good to miss.

 

Gordon as centre forward means this is going to be an agonising watch.

 

Kairat are playing away at Sporting with their third choice goalie.

The first choice keeper is our injured long term, and their backup, who was the penalty saving hero against Celtic, had his jaw broke in their last league game.

The third keeper has faced 11 shots in half hour and kept out a penalty. Going to be a long night, but really impressive.

 

When I saw Rashford was starting and Ferran was on the bench, I was tempted to post "once they sub Rashford off for Ferran at half time, it'll go from a pretty stodgy 0-0 to something good."

Wishing I had just so maybe this game would've done something.

 

Elanga is all huff and no puff. Famous last words, I know.

 

If he had a finisher to aim at, we might well be 2 up. As it is, this is going to be through the fingers stuff for the second half, I think.

I don't understand why Howe persists with the idea that Gordon works as a centre forward. It never, ever works and it seems to ruin his confidence while we're at it. Should have just started with Voltemade today.

 

Bournemouth might well have us for breakfast. We'll be tired after this and they're looking very good.
