Seems like Antony to Al-Nassr along with Joao Felix is happening. United finally benefitting from their first flop sale to Saudi.

Joelinton spent the second half trying to injure a 15 year old, only to get absolutely fucking done by him towards the end and giving away the winning penalty. Dowman is just too good already.

Honestly think Arsenal fans as a whole currently hate Newcastle more than Spurs or Chelsea lol.

I can see it catching on around Deansgate.

  6. Roony Bardghji scored in his Barca debut today. He lost a lot of hype because of his injury last year but I still think he has tons of potential. Very excited to watch more Barca game this year.

Just say who's taking them, Mikel!

  9. Another report out of Spain claiming that Spurs have had talks for Rodrygo. Can’t wait till we waste 2 weeks in this deal and not get him.

I’d rather Watkins but god it would be so fucking funny if we signed him ahead of Newcastle

Why does Ramsdale keep falling on his feet at PL clubs?

Tbf he’s a good keeper, just prone to some concentration issues I think.

Is he actually still a good keeper though? Or is he living off a reputation from years ago when he last played at a top club (and was subsequently booted out for not being good enough)?

He's got weirdly good PR for someone with repeated relegations on his CV (obviously those aren't solely on him, but he played his part).

  14. Interesting. I’m guessing he wanted CL games with Rangers over going to Championship. I think he’ll have a great year with Rangers though.

Personally, I don’t think you can truly judge a goalkeeper who has been relegated when every time those fanbases say “Yeah but he was our best player.” That said, three relegations is obviously grim ha.

Agreed about the relegations, but it's just one of those weird ones - like it's a team sport till it's not. Being the best player in a literally historically shit side is a very low bar as well. Seems like a good guy mind so it's whatever, just a strange one!

  17. Gyokeres 9.0 cost in fantasy. I was expecting a tad lower tbh but probably still solid value.

Shouldn't have to do these sort of things to compete.

    @Swoos

Excited for you guys. Don't worry about the pre-season results, either. I can remember Spurs beating Roma 5-0 in pre-season, back when Roma were decent, and Juande Ramos was sacked after 2 points in 8 games.

  20. I will definitely be watching this today.

And yeah, I’m excited. I’ve said on here several times, our squad has more talent than what was shown the last year. And it’s why Ange was sacked. I expect Frank to bring more stability and structure on the pitch. And we’ll see the talent show a lot more.

We’re definitely behind the current top 4 because of their crazy spending. But we’ll be fine.

  21. Tom is the best for MLS news so I’d assume this is happening. Gonna be a sad day when it’s announced. But it’s time.

If he is indeed going I’m glad he got to win something here at least. He’s been one of my favorites for so long and it’s gonna hurt to see him go but I get it and it probably is time

I will be traveling to Columbus to see him hopefully if they play there and he’s fit for it. Gotta see him in person at least once.

  23. If Liverpool sign Isak, that would surely take them out of the Rodrygo talks…right?

I still struggle to imagine us spending 90m on a player, and I think that’s ultimately the reason it wouldn’t happen. But I see so many people acting like Rodrygo would never join Spurs and all that. And that part I don’t really get. I mean, I know he was a highly rated talent as a teenager and all that. But it’s not like he’s really delivered at Real Madrid. Which is why they’re open to moving him out.

Reports out of Spain indicate he’s open to Spurs but prefers Liverpool. And that I totally get. But if Liverpool land Isak, City aren’t in the market, Chelsea focusing on Simons, Arsenal focusing on Eze…his options are running out.

Also, Spurs are about to lose Son. Two summers after losing Kane. It’d make sense to make a marquee signing type of move. Again, I’m not even totally convinced Rodrygo is a 90m level player. He hasn’t really shown to be one at least. But I’d definitely be willing to make the splash and see what happens.

If Spurs can get him, they 100% should. I’m sceptical about it but it would be an unbelievable get for them.
