Be twice the ocean. Be twice the land.

This doesn't sound dodgy at all!

You can’t even give clubs like Chelsea a transfer ban if they break the rules, cause they’ll just sign everyone to Strasbourg and loan them to Chelsea lmao. Ridiculous.

Like, it’s not funny, but it’s still very funny that Arsenal hijacked Eze last night in the span of like two episodes of a tv show.

  5. I don’t think it’s funny!

I was quite rightfully taking the piss last night, but I’d be fucking furious if I was a Spurs fan. They’re incompetent. We pulled out of the Eze deal almost two weeks ago, and they had a free run at it. Then when we realised we might need him, we got it done in a day.

I saw a Spurs fan say it’s their most embarrassing transfer saga since MGW, which made me laugh.

  8. I’m just not buying we had a free run at him. I think Arsenal were considering this all along and knew they could just let us do the negotiating. And plus, I know Spurs are hard to deal with, but it’s not like Palace made this easy for us either.

  9. “Arsenal got this done in a couple hours” is the most annoying thing to read with all this because of course they can get it done that fast when they already know what number Palace have said yes to.

Just saw that Madrid’s penalty was for Mbappe stepping on an Osasuna player. Yup. La Liga is back.

It’s definitely possible. Either way it’s a bit humbling.

Is there much talk about Spurs’ next targets?

  13. oh it sucks haha no doubt

Akliouche is the name I’ve seen most and I’d be very happy with that. But just gonna assume the worst with any name I see now.

  14. Nico Paz is the other name

I guess there’s been more reports that Arsenal had put the bid in for Eze on the 10th. Which is insane to me it was kept secret for that long if it’s true.

this transfer window has exhausted me. Im going on vacation to Toronto today and im just gonna ignore any rumors until im back and hope I come back to some real signings lol

  17. I’ll be on vacation in Istanbul during the deadline days. Hopefully I’ll run into Bissouma on his way to Fenerbahce.

Frimpong out for Liverpool. So glad I swerved him in FPL.

On the subject of FPL, deadline is tomorrow cause of the West Ham v Chelsea game.

  19. Our new targets:

Rogers - already deemed “impossible” but we’re going to try anyways
Akliouche - Monaco don’t want to sell but will “for the right price” which means overpay
Paz - destined for Real Madrid in the future who currently have a big sell-on clause with Como
Savinho - reports repeatedly saying City don’t want to sell him

What is wrong with this club? Are we really going to waste our time with these targets who we know will be difficult to acquire from the start? Do we ever learn?

Miguel Delaney reporting that Spurs have already contacted Roger’s camp and that they are aware he would cost a minimum of 80m euros. And we are choosing to pursue him anyways.

In the next day or two, I will read that we submitted a 50m bid and it will finish me.

  25. Honestly, the worst part of Eze not working out is that he helped with the HG numbers. I think we can find someone else that can be just as impactful, but we’re really low on HG players. Probably why they wanted to pivot to Rogers. But that isn’t happening.
