Charlotte sent out an email to season ticket holders in response to the survey they sent out recently…and I think they got lit up pretty bad lol they’re making some big changes in the ticketing process. One of the other complaints was the matchday experience being poor. And I gotta say…the club responded in BIG way lmao “Enhanced Matchday Experiences: In-stadium entertainment is a key part of what makes matchday special. That's why we're excited to welcome Joey Chestnut, 18-time Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest Champion, to Bank of America Stadium on July 22 as we celebrate with $1 hot dogs and $5 beers during our match against Atlanta.” Problem has been solved. Move along. (I am pumped about cheap beer and dog night though haha)
Missed United signing Andrey Santos. £49m is a lot. Am I alone in somehow having literally never noticed him playing for Chelsea?
Most of that boils down to Chelsea in general being a wet fart last season. Even Palmer went unnoticed.
the ending of psl is huge. I may try to move down closer. the new promo is great but I hope the dollar dogs and 5 dollar beers isn’t just until 6:30 outside of the supporters section
It’s crazy cause it might make him the most expensive footballer that I would not recognise for a second if I bumped into him lol
Yeah, the PSL thing is awesome. And they lowered prices in some sections. Hoping mine is included but we’re kinda close so I don’t know.
I'm another person who views Santos like a ghost. I'd see his name pop up in FPL every now and then and just be like "Who?". I don't feel like I ever heard him mentioned in any media or get highlighted on MoTD or anything. Are we absolutely sure this isn't Chelsea's next ruse for getting around PSR?
Nah he’s a good player. Played in the unbeaten run Chelsea had when Rosenior joined but dropped after a bit, conspiracy stuff about agents and player power getting involved. was Ligue 1 YPOTY the season before. I think people just forget about him because Chelsea’s squad is a meat grinder. We, and other teams inquired about him last summer but were told he wasn’t for sale.
Some noise out there that if Arsenal don’t pay the asking price for Rodgers that Spurs would be willing to do so. I guess we’re buying an entirely new squad.
That actually came from Hand Of Arsenal. Said you’ve enquired and are willing to bid for him, but he’s prioritising us. Didn’t mention you being willing to pay £110m or whatever but I have to imagine both clubs definitely can.
This probably comes from the PL fatigue I felt in the final few months last season. Cause the whole Arsenal title run in was so intense and all-encompassing, I basically barely watched other matches from late March onwards - maybe only one other game a week.
Yeah, sounds like we are basically waiting to see if it doesn’t work out with Arsenal. But I think he’ll end up with you guys or staying at Villa.
Zidane taking over France. Klopp taking over Germany. Slot is a contender for the Netherlands job. A lot of bigger names taking national team jobs. I’d imagine this will be Pep’s next step as well.
Yeah tbh I think I saw him play there once. I really wanted him last summer, we asked to swap when sold Garnacho. He was really good in France
This is me just dreaming but… Let’s say England win the WC. Kane wins the Ballon d’Or. What’s left for him to do other than return home and break the PL goal record and win something with Spurs???
