Rumors continuing to circle about United possibly pulling the plug on the Ederson deal over potential long term knee issues. Apparently he was rushed back from a meniscus and they’re going to shift focus to Kone if they don’t like what they see from a thorough analysis of the medical. Imagine it all goes through just fine but would be an incredible blessing and major upgrade to go from Ederson to Kone all because of a bum knee. edit: Just now seeing how bad Kone’s own injury history is and how Ederson has been more or less totally injury free until the end of last season. Very strange one.
looks like it’s a done deal for 22+9 on add ons. Allegedly they’re easily achieved so BVB is looking at a wash, basically. The upside is there’s a 35% sell on so if his production improves with a better cast around him, they could be looking at a very nice payout on his next move.
