Been seeing some of the discourse around that Tonali rumor. I don’t think it will happen but I can’t believe how many people are against it because “he isn’t a good fit”. I’m sorry, but I’m not worried about how a bonafide premier league starter fits with the losers we’ve been trotting out the last year or two lol we should be replacing a lot of these players. Not finding others who fit with them.
squeeze the juice over the pork and then place rind size down. Slow cook 6-8 hours. Optional is to broil the pork with the juice from the slow cooker.
Also, it isn’t for us. It’s to explain fundamental tactics like playing out from the back to John and Susan, who only watch major international tournaments. And she does a really good job.
from the like three minutes of highlights I’ve seen, he seems like the replacement for Jota: versatile forward across the front line, good pace, good dribbling/control, knack for being in the right place at the right time
Regarding Fernandes, it sounds like United are struggling to meet some of the requests form West Ham in their negotiations. And apparently Spurs can meet those demands easier. So we are swooping in and trying to close it quickly. Tbh, I take this as Fernandes’ agent trying to speed up United. From what I’ve read that is where the player wants to go. But I know we’ve had interest. So glad to see us at least trying if the reports are true.
West Ham and Tottenham have a handshake deal where reporting Spurs interest in Fernandes helps the Hammers get a better deal from United for Fernandes and Spurs get a better deal for Tonali
Yeah, I think it’s going to happen eventually. He seems set on a permanent move instead of a loan. I think we’ll get the number a little higher and accept.
I’m guessing there will be some bitter fans after he leaves, but I get it from Vuskovic’s perspective. He is coming off a strong season and feels like he’s earned his spot. In most other seasons, Spurs have had European games and could make it work. But this year, minutes are going to be very tight and we can’t mess around by forcing a 19 year old into the starting lineup. It also sounds like the club just flat out doesn’t think he is ready for it anyways. A loan makes sense for both parties imo, but I’m assuming he wants to settle in somewhere. Brighton have a great record of developing players, have a starting spot for him, and can even offer European games. So it would be a really good move for him.
Brighton have struck out so far on the CBs they have brought in over the last 18 months, so this would be huge for us.
Yeah, lol, I get being mad at the club haha I meant there will be bitterness toward the player which will be dumb. But that’s how it goes.
Moving this thought to this thread as opposed to the WC thread because it’s a friend thought and not an everyone thought, but as someone currently estranged from his father and favorite aunt because I don’t support Trump, having one aspect of this country to be proud of is really fucking nice right now.
It is nice. But any time we have something nice Trump parachutes in and ruins it. So I’m expecting him to be at the next game or something.
Apparently he plans to lift the trophy with the winning team no matter what. So if it’s not us, I hope someone like Enzo Fernandez just ruins him.
And this is why there will be bitter fans. Passive aggressive comments about how he isn’t wanted when that isn’t the case.
Decent young player, but realistically he plays in a position where have lots of much better options (Saka, Madueke, Dowman, Nwaneri). Wouldn’t be too surprised if he left given that, and I wouldn’t really blame him. Got to do what’s best for his career.
Yeah the Vuskovic stuff is frustrating. I get he wants playing time, but I would really prefer to loan him out again rather than lose one of the most exciting young players we’ve signed in a while
