Pandemic years aside, United will be staying in Europe for pre-season for the first time since 2002. Makes a lot of sense given there's a World Cup going on in the Americas. I'd imagine lots of teams will follow suit with their schedules.
The drama between Spain’s big three is only beaten by Portugal’s big three lmao. Maybe not even they can match given how mad Real Madrid are now.
The Panorama on this is grim, and the article contains details they had to leave out which are even grimmer.
Part of me would love to see PL teams beefing on twitter but I don’t think the fans could handle it lol
The amount of hiding in plain sight with this whole thing is breathtaking. Guy is like a scummy, Essex Weinstein.
I did a quick search yesterday to see if Sullivan was in the Epstein files but it doesn’t look like it (I didn’t do a deep dive tho), which caught me off guard.
One of the things that pisses me off about what Trump’s done to immigration/travel the most for all this is seeing how awesome this World Cup could be in glimpses and spurts. Like what do you mean Messi played in Jordan-Hare, home of the two greatest plays in college football history, last night and they attempted to teach the crowd of Argentines and Icelanders how to do the Swag Surf? There’s a German guy live tweeting his experience of every day American things. He started in Atlanta and did Waffle House properly: 1am after drinking. Discovered the city is technically in the middle of a forest and it blew his mind. Wonder if anyone told him that that forest stretches all the way to Canada, technically. I’ve seen tweets from other people visiting here from Europe for the games discovering that the Amish do in fact use our roads with their horses, stumbling upon a Buccees, a Cookout milkshake, etc. There was a lot of opportunity to not only be good hosts, but for a lot of people to see how varied and, yes, deeply cultural, life here actually is.
Our home kits the last few seasons have been pretty nice, but this one is utterly fetid. It's meant to be uniform black and white stripes. You have to go out of your way to mess that up.
Bissouma is officially gone from Spurs. What a day. And Davies signed a one-year deal. Fans are melting down over this and I don’t know why lol he will rarely play and clearly wants to be here anyways. And there’s been a lot of talk about him eventually taking a leadership role in the club. So just let him stick around.
Saw someone say we should crowdfund him to attend a different SEC night game this fall and he’d return to Europe like one of the twelve disciples hahaha
He gotta a little taste of it last night at Auburn lol tbh I’m jealous of his trip! He’s doing it right.
