  1. I saw other reports this morning saying the opposite. So we’ll see how it plays out. I think it’s 50/50.

Wissa has unfollowed Brentford on Insta. Usually means something is ON.

Reminds me of when I unfollowed MySpace Tom.

Lots of footballers acting incredibly unprofessionally to get moves this summer. Always funny when it isn’t your club, if we’re honest.

  4. I was scared we’d get that with Romero this summer but he seems very happy to stay.

Tbf Romero probably knows how good he's got it already. Wissa's situation is different as he's got Champions League ambitions at quite a late point age wise. I kinda see why he's REALLY fixed on leaving.

Basically like when Haaland joined City ant the players had to adjust to finally having a real 9. It will 100% click and then we’ll be much more dynamic, just a shame we play Liverpool so early because they look vulnerable to direct play.

    No DCL in Leeds' squad.

Leeds look quite sharp early on. Shame.

i was in Target today and they had loads of trading card boxes available. saw a bundesliga one and said wtf i'll give it a shot. ended up with a Pascal Groß autograph which, eh, could have been worse?

All Leeds, that. Only one shot on target for them, though. We'll never get back into it if they score first. Just like last season.

I mean, they deserve that, but what was he supposed to do with his arm? It was deflected onto him, and his arm was fully down by his side.

So glad someone wrote something along the lines of this. How the fuck does he get out of the way?

I know we offered nothing but that's a pisstake way to lose.

Sunderland and Leeds going all out is surely setting off alarm bells at West Ham, Brentford, Everton, etc

I still maintain our first choice defence is better than any of those clubs + Wolves.

Having the mentality of giving it to Pickford so he can kick it long is my biggest concern. Thankfully Moyes and some of the players looked displeased with it, notably Grealish on the touchline warming up.

Main thing in Everton's favour over some of those is Moyes, in my opinion. Manager with a proven track record, that squad is good enough for him to squeeze safety out of.

Also the main reason I really fear for Brentford this season. West Ham will be terrified as well - Potter firmly on fraud watch now.

  19. Is this really happening to us again? An executive blocking a deal?

  20. Not a bad alternative imo

Eventually the way Levy treats people in negotiations was going to have blow back. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is the case.

  22. Possibly. But I’m seeing the person blocking it “doesn’t want another Cole Palmer situation”.

I still think it could be a play to get us to pay more and if we meet their demands it’ll happen. There’s been too much talk between clubs. Just not sure if we’ll do that.

Akliouche is "only" on just over €20k per week at Monaco. You can see why they move to the Premier League at will.

Hopefully Malick Fofana wants to do the same to Everton.

To knee jerk wildcard in FPL or to wait one week to knee jerk wildcard in FPL...

Something for you, and possibly others in this thread, to consider.

I'm usually a slow starter so I can vouch for the above tweet.
