Tbf I’m not sure this is that much more expensive than when I went to Riot Fest in 2022 lol. Think it was 12-15 a drink then.

I still dream of those Monte Carlo drinks, and shout out to the guy in the England shirt who served me all the time lol.

Meanwhile, the Scots who are supposed to melt in the heat, are 3-0 up.

Tailgating is an American sports tradition for a reason!

This has been one of the most boring 45 minutes of football I can ever remember. And I’ve watched Arsenal defend one goal leads.

18 $ for a beer is absolutely ridiculous. Prices have risen sharply here too in the last years and even my local team charges 4 € now for a beer. But the US is just another level.

Be twice the ocean. Be twice the land.

Roy Keane has decided to look as menacing as possible for ITV's World Cup coverage this year.

Watching the anthems for Egypt-Brazil and I think it may shock the world just how full the stadiums are going to be with our immigrant communities, let alone whoever did in fact travel here.

Small world. I’m also from Greensboro, currently live in Charlotte, support CLTFC.

thankfully spurs didn’t score 2 in injury time late in may ‘99.

TIL Messi is 39 during the WC. Between games v Austria and Jordan.

  18. That’s wild haha

I’m not sure of the spurs reference but I’m glad we fell short for you

  19. Apparently we’ve had two bids for van hecke rejected. Levy is gone and we still have to sit through weeks of negotiating instead of just paying the price.

As much as he loves RDZ I think someone like Liverpool go for Van hecke, which I think he would choose.

  22. wouldn’t blame him if he did that.

I just hate that it’s a player who favors the move, only has a year left, and we’ve bid around 50m…and it’s rejected. That’s an extremely fair offer imo. I honestly wouldn’t want to pay more than that.

I don’t think spurs is van hecke’s favorite option is more what I was getting at. I’d probably want more than 50M too tbh.

  24. Possibly.

And Brighton always get the most out of other clubs. So not surprised they’re going to let others come in throw money at van hecke. Liverpool make a ton of sense, especially after Senesi picked Spurs over them.

Replacing van Dijk for club and country has to be up there motivation wise.
