Local podcast made a joke about who would do the elusive thing first Fernando Tatis Jr. hitting a home run (57 games w/o) Pulisic scoring a goal in 2026 well… both happened in back to back days this weekend.
Ben White was on a mad one yesterday. Clearly absolutely hammered. Asked Hincapie to get his arse out again on the live stream, ordered a burger from the bus and caught it when chucked at him, dashed Odegaard and Gyokeres camera glasses into the crowd, and made Rice rap on the mic. I’m going to miss him.
The amount of people on twitter/reddit trying to discredit the actual turnout for yesterday's parade is so weird. Get a life lol.
Things like this have made me laugh. As if 1.2m people were on the payroll, imagine the logistics involved lol
It should be no surprise that the turnout was huge. It’s not even arrogance, we are comfortably the biggest club in London and it isn’t even close. The lies really are proof that many people hate Arsenal more than they love their own team lmao
Arguing about crowd size is extremely lame. It was a big crowd as expected. I don’t understand why people needed to do a “well actually…” lol
It's so weird! Who cares how big a club is? How does that impact your enjoyment of your own team/sport as a whole? It actually impacts Arsenal fans most, because its nigh on impossible to get a fucking PL/CL ticket
The law changes for the World Cup seem pretty good: World Cup 2026: Goalkeeper tactical timeouts banned They're usually strict with keeping to them throughout the tournament from what I remember too. Remember all the stoppage time last tournament? Couple of strange ones for me are the foul before a corner is taken, but only if it affects the defending team, and can check if its a corner but not goal-kicks?
I don’t miss being shit, but I do miss the days 5 years ago where I could go to 10+ games if I wanted
There's some very strange logic in the rule changes. With the whole thing about stopping tactical timeouts by the keepers, they've no intention of booking players for going over to their own bench. There's no punishment available for it. Given the keepers can't be forced off the pitch to restart play and there's no means to stop the players going over to their manager, how do they plan to enforce that?
Yeah, I feel this so much in Charlotte haha. Hornets used to be so bad they had a night where you got in if you brought a canned food to donate. But they’re starting to look kinda good and prices are shooting up.
Manchester United's current stance on Hayden Hackney - and why Michael Carrick is key Feel like I'm due a commission from the club if this goes through, with how much I've been pushing for United to make the move
£12m is the rumoured price. Boro fans I know have it in their mind that they'll get £25m+ for him, but it's just not realistic - he's in the last year of his contract, stayed last year for a promotion push, and now is facing another season in the Championship. Boro need the money now too, and they don't have too many more marketable assets.
Saliba might be out of the WC after playing the CL final with an injury. Damn, he really does love the club like he said the other day. That’s commitment.
Spurs are mentioned in that article as well. Hoping we can actually do it. We miss out on these guys and then later try to buy them from Palace or Bournemouth 60m instead lol
In fairness, probably the correct move at the time and in hindsight. Still played in the Championship, won POTS, and is going to get a Premier League move anyway, probably with better wages and less likely to be relegated again (insert Spurs joke here).
You love to see it. At someone like Real Madrid they would boo him. Proper fanbases support their players and that makes me proud.
Of the 500 players linked to Spurs so far… I think Abde Ezzalzouli seems like the perfect balance of what we’re looking for. We’re in a tough spot because we need players who can make an instant impact, but we’ve been so poor it’s hard to attract those types. Ezzalzouli is coming off a pretty great season in Spain and seems attainable. But I have absolutely no clue who we are actually targeting.
