I’d like to choose the Northampton Hope Centre. They help those in my home county who are experiencing hunger, homelessness, addiction, and mental health struggles. They operate food kitchens, homeless shelters, and drop in clinics and more, as well as delivering food parcels to residents living in food poverty. For my charity, I'd like to choose the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). Not much to say really other than it's a national service staffed by volunteers, risking life and limb to save people at sea in all conditions and at all times. James' Place. A charity close to my heart for two reasons a) my oldest brother was called James b) James took his life in December 2023 and could have been around to this day had he been aware of said charity. The fact the charity bears the name James is bittersweet but also a poignant reminder of their work. They currently have 4 centres in the UK and have treated over 5k men since they formed in 2018. Pilsen Food Pantry - Pilsen Food Pantry Count me in! My charity choice is a food pantry in a Hispanic neighborhood of Chicago that does a lot of good with or without the added threat brought on by Trump’s ICE terror force. It also just happens to be close to one of the best live music venues in town.

I’m in. I was torn on two charities to play for so I’ll play for both. Rebel Dogs Detroit, a dog shelter helping get strays fostered and adopted. Run by really incredible people I’ve been fortunate to work with through my job helping raise funds for them on a couple of occasions. Rebel Dogs Detroit if I win, I’ll also match the donation to Forgotten Harvest. They process and deliver food to countless charities and food banks and shelters in Michigan. I'm in! Going slightly self indulgent for something very close to my heart. My choice is Breakthrough T1D: Donate | Breakthrough T1D https://share.google/uLzf64T1tSdS4trrN I've been type 1 diabetic since 17 (so now half my life), and being diagnosed with diabetes has been the worst thing that has happened to me as its a constant, never-ending balancing act that has been a nightmare for me both physically and mentally. However, due to the research that charities like Breakthrough do, the disease has become much more manageable with cgms, pumps etc. and although I might be in my 50s by the time transplants or whatever become a more permanent solution, I think any funding towards this is incredibly important, and can help make life easier especially for young people who have just been diagnosed (especially 17 year olds who just want to drink strongbow and play football).
