I understand that Dembele has the trophies and Yamal has the hype, but Raphinha probably deserves the Balon d’Or over both of them. Picking right back up where he left off.

 

He’s been used more as a 9 and on the wings, but given the injury situation he’s filling the spot for now.

Can’t expect much from him anywhere on the pitch, but maybe some consistent run at a single position while he fills in for Musiala can bring him up to form.

if our only option is bringing in Nkunku, I’d rather not and rely on Gnabry. If Woltemade sneaks through somehow, Gnabry can happily go back to a utility position on the bench. A strong CAM prospect, Paul Wanner, has been stonewalled by the club it seems, but I’d like to see him get some run with the first team instead of another loan.
