This turnaround certainly doesn't paint those four substitutions in a great light, haha.

Semenyo hat-trick before everyone kneejerks him in?

Salah is like a sodding cheat code. Absolutely surgical.

As far as FPL goes, that was an absolutely shitty decision making match all around on my part.

This game does nothing to change my opinion that Liverpool this season will score a lot, but may actually drop more points than people think due to their (lack of) defence.

I'm not sure why there haven't been more serious attempts to get him. Along with Kluivert, he was excellent for Bournemouth last season.

Bit brute force but Liverpool in the end, but what a cracking opening game. Bournemouth look like they might be a right pain in the arse again this year.

Still content. 28pts without Salah captain.

Major bummer that the Baleba deal seems dead. Honestly think he’s such a unique physical talent the way his ball carrying can cut through a team in a couple of seconds, don’t want United to go for an alternative target if it means we’d be out of the running for Baleba next summer.

With that being said i’m much less optimistic about United this season, the new front three should be a lot better but we just do not have the right profiles for those two CMs whatsoever.

Picked my team like a month ago and i’m fucked already having been too busy this week to remember to change it. Getting no points for Isak, Kluivert, Gvardiol, Robinson. Hoping my remaining guys can all play a blinder, Ashley Barnes hat trick off the bench v Spurs, and I can reset with a wildcard.

Villa v Newcastle will be a decent watch. No focal point for Newcastle, but I'd imagine they'll want to targett (lol) Cash with Barnes and Livramento. That said, if they overload too much, Rogers is very capable of exploiting space down Newcastle's left side.

The midfield battle could be very even, too, dependent on which Onana turns up.

Score draw if it plays out as I expect.

Casual reminder that Elanga is Newcastle's second highest fee. Ever.

Newcastle winning the midfield battle by some margin.

Villa just woke up, then, though.
