  1. Would prefer this over Pahlinha

You'll know more regarding his performances for United, but there was nothing poor about his tecnique when he scored THAT goal v Everton (us). He's got more of that in him imo.

I also think under Emery he'd have the assurance of a genuinely great coach for the first time at club level. No offence to Amorim, but he's still a pup honing his craft. Mascherano got a tune out of him, albeit 3/4 years ago.

That's the thing with Garnacho, he's not developed really in 3-4 years. In fact, he's largely regressed. Obviously coaching comes into it, but scoring that Everton goal is part of the issue - he now thinks he's got a worldie in him constantly, shooting from silly positions, always making the wrong choice, whilst not having worked on or improved his finishing or technique in other areas.

Isak hasn't joined Newcastle on their pre-season tour. That's a very bad sign for us. I'm wondering if we're trying to get some business done before everyone knows we have a whopping great Isak sized transfer fee in our pockets.

Disappointing stuff. I really thought we'd manage to hold onto him for this year (with us having CL) and then he'd go next summer.

Sterling is hoping playing for Fulham regularly will get him back into Tuchel's plans for the World Cup. Who is going to tell him?

In his defence, Tuchel has regularly called up Kyle Walker and Jordan Henderson - showing being over the hill, out of form and completely past it isn't a hindrance to being called up!

Super interesting table on club spend adjusted for inflation.

Absolutely no shock for most of the top 10! Surprising not to see Blackburn 92/93 higher?

Chelsea and Man City making up 10 of the top 11 lol. Of course. I wouldn’t have guessed the other club was Newcastle tbh.

Going from Ederson to Trafford, (if Ederson does go) is a crazy gamble.

Newcastle can't stop taking Ls this summer. As a fully signed up Hater, it's very very funny.

FPL definitely has an inside man pricing Trafford at 5.0m despite being at Burnley lol

Luke Edwards is tier 4 on the fan-voted transfer reliability guide on an Everton site I use. The lowest tier.

After the way PSG was propped up leading up to the Qatar WC, you’d think Saudi would be doing the same with Newcastle.

Hell yeah. Hope he's able to live up to #14 more than Nketiah (who was in an impossible situation tbf)

  22. Kinda lame how he went about this. Didn’t make a fuss until after Liverpool swooped in and signed Ekitike before Newcastle could. Now he’s making Liverpool his priority and leaving his club in a tough spot.

Only crumb of comfort is that he'll go for massive money, which might mean we lose a complete superstar, but get a much better squad overall.

That being said, given our luck in the window so far, we might have to just fill a shirt with cash and chuck that on the pitch.

Not every day you go on reddit and see a picture of Mauro Icardi’s tiny penis, but there are I guess.

  25. My prediction for the remainder of Spurs window:

    - MGW is finally completed
    - We sign a random DM no one had on the radar
    - We’re the landing spot for Garnacho
