Chelsea missing out on Xavi, just means more for the Garnacho fund

  3. It’s interesting…

Rodrygo is going to cost 100m and his wages will likely be well above 200k. His best season in La Liga he had 9G and 9A.

Savinho is 3 years younger. His season with Girona at age 19, he had 9G and 10A. He made the jump to PL and his goals went down but he still had 10 assists. Rodrygo has never had double digit assists in a league season. Savinho is going to cost like 40m less and his wages will likely be half or less than half of Rodrygo’s.

This isn’t me hating on Rodrygo. It’s more so me being very happy if this Savinho deal goes through.

Barcelona-Villareal the weekend of December 19-22, originally scheduled to be @ Villareal, has been approved to take place in Miami if UEFA agrees.

99.9% of the time I am against the idea of a league game taking place outside of the country of the league. However, Dec. 21st is my birthday and I was already planning to be in Florida so I'll be a hypocrite for personal gain if it happens.

I had a look at Palace's fixtures and can't believe the Irony that their Premier League game inbetween their newly placed conference playoff qualifier is none other than Nottingham Forest... couldn't write it.

O'Riley looks like he's going to Juventus too - what's happened there to the Brighton fan we have?

Haven't La Liga tried this before and UEFA said no?

I know they've tried before, but I think this is the first time it's made it past both teams and La Liga?

Makes sense that we’d be his first choice as he’s an Arsenal fan, but I don’t see us going for him unless we sell Trossard & Zinchenko in the next few days.

I think he’ll go to Spurs now tbh, and we have more pressing issues at LW.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

The way Isak and his team are behaving is really hurting his legacy now. Newcastle gave him the platform to be where he is now and he's basically fucking up our negotiating position. I don't have an issue with players wanting to go on to bigger clubs, but you shouldn't mess up the club where you made your name in the process.

Also, don't go signing long contracts if you fancy your chances elsewhere...

Isak is a strange case as well cause there's no indication he actually needs to go on strike to force the move. All reports indicates Liverpool are happy to pay the money (slightly low offer first up, but no reason to think negotiations won't meet in the middle). Literally the only issue is Newcastle needing a replacement, something which going on strike to get your club less money won't solve.
