He's got something about him imo. He must do in order to have bad end product. Only 21, needs some "refinement". Perhaps that will come through being 1st choice consistently?

    Savinho was electric for Girona.

  6. Such an insane ruling

  7. Ok so it’s ideally Savinho + a mid attacker. Not sure who would be the best fit between two 1v1 dribbly wingers like Savinho and Kudus. El Khannouss might be the answer.

  8. Dang that’s a good price!

  9. City shipping out Grealish, Savinho, and McAtee…they’re up to something.

Bobb must be in his element with three competitors leaving even after his injury.

Gonna be honest, I hate that it happened to Palace because I like them as a club and a fanbase, but in principle I think multiclub ownership in the same continent should be outlawed. So it’s probably the correct decision if you leave aside what club it is, etc.

That said, I think them offering the blind trust bollocks as a way of escape, even though it’s a totally see through load of old shite (but only if you register by March 1st), is insane. It obviously benefits only big clubs who can realistically expect to be in it every year and harms clubs who over perform in a cup compared to expectations like Palace did.

Oh the plus side for Palace, I look forward to seeing you beat Fiorentina in the final in May. If nothing else, that will be very funny.

We're not even an MCO. That's the irritating thing. Textor has never had decisive control and had been trying to sell up for the past year, yet UEFA seems to know the club better than the club itself and decided that he did have an influence.

    Truly baffling.

Conference League is essentially guaranteed Europa League one year later for English teams. The blatant lack of quality in the tournament due to the expansions of the two above it shouldn't be forgotten.

It would be the most Palace thing ever if we managed to lose the qualifying game in a couple of weeks, though.

This is where I'm at with it. I can see both sides really. It really sucks for Palace and their fans, but it is probably objectively the 'correct' decision. The most grating part is you just know for a fact if the affected club was any of the big 6 or big continental teams, they'd have found a loophole to allow it. Just feels the entire thing is set up to punish smaller clubs that overachieve.

  18. Didn’t they let Girona and City both play CL last year?

Haha. It will literally be the men from Malta or somewhere.

Yeah. The issue was Palace not submitting the loophole.

It'll be the glamour tie against either Fredrikstad FK from Norway or FC Midtjylland from Denmark

Of course, I forgot the draw has already been made. Serves me right for joking about men from Malta!

Midtjylland would be the trickier of those two. Are they still Brentford's satelitte club, right?
