    THEY DO LEAD.

A team with five senior players and no ability to buy new ones for two years is beating Leicester…

edit: the goalscorer and one of their few senior players has picked up an injury. Not ideal.

Lads, Liverpool have a deal with Satan. I've known about it since I was a pup.

  6. I don’t think players practice penalties anymore. A lot of bad takes.

They’re trying to get a couple of players from us. I like Wednesday a lot but I’m a little worried what letting them go there would be like

Brighton have been practising them all pre-season to find Joao Pedro's penalty heir haha.

Leicester have turned it around and won it with three minutes to go. Wednesday were down to 10 men too.

Shame, but they’ve done well and while they’ll still almost certainly go down, if they play like this they’ll at least so down swinging.

I for one find that terminology extremely rude.

Tbf to Van Dijk, the new strategy Slot is trying leaves him and Konate horrifically exposed.

Sure, they look very dangerous going forward, but playing 8/10 outfield players who just want to attack feels incredibly risky.

  14. @Nick are you keeping up with Mason Melia at all? Looks like he’s off to a great start in the Irish league. Another teenager Spurs have signed and based on how things are going I might need him to save us in a few years.

Oh our season didn't start this weekend. It's nearly over haha. It's a summer league. He's done well, yeah. He's our best striker (I follow the team he plays for) but Pats have been absolutely fucking terrible this season unfortunately and despite having a few good goals his all round play has suffered. Couple of good goals this evening.

Still excellent for his age and having a good season, just expected a bit more of a step up than he's actually had. I'd wager he will be in the youth teams over there for a couple of seasons before he starts making an impact.

  16. oh haha I assume it was start of season because I hadn’t heard much about him until the last week or two.

Be interesting to see what kinda fee they're after. They got him on a sweetheart deal due to City Football Group shenanigans, but imagine they'd be after £50m at least in this market. I mean, there's no way he's worth less than Gittens, Madueke and the rest.

  20. I’m expecting around 60m.

Curious if the plan would be to move Kudus into the middle until one of Maddison or Kulu return…or if we’ll still be signing another no10 in addition to signing Savinho.

€50m (euro not pounds) according to Ornstein. Strange there's not more clubs in for him at that price. Just wild stuff considering other deals this year, but guess that's why City are generally consistently one of the better run clubs in the world.

I didn’t see loads of Savinho last year, but from memory he didn’t really live up to the hype. Bad end product. Will be interesting to see if he kicks on at Spurs.

  25. I’ve seen a lot of City fans say he was their best winger at certain points of the season. 20 years old walking into a team like City, competing for minutes with other elite players and bagging 10 assists in the league is pretty good imo. And at 50m? Feels like a no-brainer. Tons of potential in him.
