When you add in the £200m City spent in Jan, this is pretty stark. The only real surprise is Sunderland spending so much but they absolutely needed to.

Fulham at 400k is wild, but they’re rumoured to be in for about five players atm, including Nelson and Zinchenko from us. So that will rise.

 

Spurs number is a little inflated because Danso and Tel loans becoming permanent. Outside of that we’ve really only spent on Kudus. Simply not enough. We need 2 more signings minimum. Especially now that Maddison is out….again.

 

I’d say all teams will end up spending over/well over 50m this summer which is insane

 

Partey got granted bail today, and Romano posted a “here we go” of him going to Villarreal about half hour later. Grim.

Apparently El Khannouss has a £22m release clause which feels like a steal. Spurs probably need a level above him but I wouldn’t be mad at it.

Apparently Isak has been told to train alone and has been barred from the club's family day as well. What an absolute shitshow.

 

I can just imagine Isak being sent to somewhere like Gateshead to train alone. I'd imagine it's only a matter of time before we get an update from Ornstein.

 

Feels kind of bad to see someone who's been such a big part of the team the last couple of years get dumped out like that, but it also makes you wonder what's been going on in private for him to have ended up training at Sociedad and then bombed out of the place once the squad comes back from tour.

All very disappointing.

 

I’m sad we won’t see United end up with a front three including both Jackson and Cunha. At any point one of them is bound to be sent off or suspended.
