I've had an absolute nightmare, haha. This is what I've seen before, too. Apologies!

Absolutely love Slot spending almost half a billion pound then crying about not having a big enough squad. Hilarious.

Maybe you should have planned your spending and squad building better then, buddy.

  3. Seeing some talk of Kulu coming back in the next few weeks. Amazing news, we really need someone like him in the lineup. But considering the injury he had…it’s also kinda hard to see him making an immediate impact.

  4. I’m sorry to harp on the injury thing, we’ve looked kinda bleh regardless, but I saw a kinda crazy stat related to the injuries.

Romero, Maddison, Solanke and Kulusevski haven’t started a game together in over a calendar year. Maybe our four most important starters dating back to the start of last year. And it’s not because one guy missed an entire year. They’ve just all been out at various times. Sometimes, like right now, all four are missing at the same time. It’s incredibly frustrating that this cycle of injuries never ends.

i think with how sprint heavy the prem has become, I feel like that’s just the way the league will be moving forward. You need a full 18-22 players for a full season because there’s so many games for club and country. And they are like redlining physically, imo

  6. I feel like we had that and now, in October, we’re down to 15 senior players lol

Yeah, just saw a post counting injuries already this season and it’s nuts for most teams. City on 21, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal on 18, and Brighton, Spurs, Villa, and Palace on 16.

That’s a lot of injuries when it’s only October. United have had comfortably the least on 7, interestingly, although it didn’t count the severity or games missed of course.

Been working very close to Stamford Bridge today and they have “WORLD CHAMPIONS” plastered around the stadium. Technically, sure lol.

  9. I think this explains the…I don’t wanna say boring…but I guess boring? games we’ve had recently. Just less talent out there at any given time because so many guys are hurt?

  10. Side note…ever since I updated my phone I have a ridiculous amount of typos. wtf is happening.

The prem is also the slowest (in terms of tempo) of all the top 5 leagues in terms of total possessions and has I think the least amount of ball in play time, too. It’s really heave it long and sprint as much as possible. (I was listening to stadio/tifo football podcast on my long drive this morning)

iPhone to iOS 26? Apparently it's an issue that a lot of people have. Type one letter and it inputs another.

First time watching Coventry this season. Lampard working wonders for them thus far by the looks of the table. I'll be forever grateful for THAT Palace game, even if it wasn't that specific result which "saved" us in the end.

Lampard will deserve a chance if he gets Coventry up, but I don't think he'll last in the top flight as a coach.

Somewhat related, but Brenden Aaronson is doing bits for Leeds. Playing well in the pockets and would have more to show for it with better players around him - looking at you DCL! I mean, you can see for yourself this GW as it's Brighton v Leeds.

If anyone can get someone in good form it’s Brighton’s lack of defense. 21 straight without a clean sheet.

This is absolutely fucking insane. 5 home games in a row starting after 8pm

and the game against Newcastle is the only game on Stephen’s/Boxing Day.

Brighton have a must win today. Looking forward to getting countered early or something and going down 1-0

Mateta again. Well taken, had loads to do.

  24. Mateta is pretty good. Love watching Palace.

  25. Gonna enjoy these early games because it’s my least favorite match day of the year lol Chelsea games are just so chaotic and annoying every time. We always lose. Ugh.

And Charlotte play their elimination game immediately after the Spurs game. Might be a rough afternoon for me! Haha
