To be fair to the guy in charge of your transfers at the time, he was likely unaware of how quickly he'd be ready. Doing it at Westerlo is one thing, doing it at Spurs is another. Look at Mike Tresor. He was player of the year in Belgium before moving to Kompany's Burnley. I don't think he's made a Premier League start lol

 

Yeah, it’s for sure the best move long term. It’s just frustrating we’re always having to throw a midfielder at CB.

 

League Cup draw is pretty nice for Newcastle, City and Chelsea (as much as it can be at this stage, at least). That Arsenal Palace game is a real win for everyone else, as it means one of them has to go.

Although, for the CL teams, that week is a bit of a bitch. Newcastle are playing Leverkusen away, then Sunderland away and then the midweek game will the cup, before Chelsea at home that weekend. That's going to suck.

Glad Palace avoided that banana skin last night. When I saw that Liverpool team, I was convinced they were gonna embarrass us like the 5th best team in Cyprus did to us last week. Thankfully, Sarr continued his love affair with Liverpool, Pino found some form after a poor couple of games and Kamada bossed their (admittedly young/out of form) midfield and ran the game.

Now to improve our league form

 

I know their lineup last night was mainly children, but seeing Liverpool lose every week will never get boring. Hopefully Villa continue the streak at the weekend!

The only saving grave is that they don’t have to leave London, and maybe can rotate in the ECL as it’s an easy fixture.

Apparently Rangers have moved Mikey Moore into a central role and he’s thriving. It was looking bleak but I think Rangers were a mess as a whole.

 

Hadn't logged into FPL for so long that I had five free transfers to use. Decided to keep one or two for now, but god my team is bad.

 

I've been actively playing and I've had a shocking month. I've crashed down to second bottom. So many benched points and other awkward weeks.

 

I feel like this season has been horrendous for FPL generally. So many objectively good or sensible decisions just fail to pay off, still hard to know or predict which teams are good or not. Defensive contributions have had a huge impact too, and I've really struggled to get my head around them.

 

Sorry for not wanting Bayern to win or sorry for calling the league Bundi?

 

Is this not a done thing? haha. Swear I've seen the term used before!

 

Maybe in the English speaking world, although I haven't seen it yet. I only saw Bundes, which sounds even worse. In Germany the common abbreviation is Buli.
