  1. Another example of MLS being incompetent…

There is one game left in the season. We are entering international break. Which means there will be a two week break and then the last day of games to determine final playoff spots.

Why not schedule the season so there isn’t a big break right before potentially the most important weekend of games of the season?

Two weeks off, now go decide the season.

Brighton are sloppy today and Baleba still looks below average, really discouraging.

Barry subbed off at HT. Feel for him as he's young, but based on the evidence so far he's going to be a flop.

Put the football on and immediately Palace concede a stonewall pen. Their fans can blame me.

  7. Love it.

Spurs sitting in third and two points off the lead while playing mostly like shit. Which is huge because the stretch coming up the next two months is a lot tougher than what we’ve already played. Keep building the chemistry in the attack and we should hold up well.

My girlfriend watching all of that and just said “Wait… Is Jack Grealish ugly now?”

i won’t point out that he’s still far, far more attractive than me.

    This is hilariously evil

That said, bringing a banner of a tweet to a game is one of the saddest things I’ve ever sern.

5 points behind Arsenal. Win every game from now on and the league is ours.

  15. I hate the run-ups for pens these days. Why can’t guys just run up and kick it? You still have a very good chance of making it lol

  17. 7 games into the season, no unbeaten teams. That part isn’t too surprising. But also, only 4 have lost fewer than 2 games. Feels like more parity so far. But still small sample size for sure.

Perth is such an odd choice. Referring to my Demographics Of Australia For Dummies book*, I'd presume Melbourne or Sydney would house more Italians.

Isn't Perth the most isolated major city on the planet? Certainly seems like a bad choice.

Calafiori is quickly becoming one of my favourite players. I’ve never seen a full back who essentially plays like a free role.

Even if a game is cagey and tight, he’s always popping up on the right wing, or providing the extra man in midfield, or overlapping the left winger, or making the run into the box.

At times, it’s honestly terrifying, but god is it fun and the sort of unpredictability that the team needs.
