  1. didn’t get to see any of it but that seems to have went the way a lot of people thought the europa tie last year was gonna go until spurs actually just turned up to norway and mostly dominated

The decision to replay the entirety of Blackburn vs Ipswich is crazy. Blackburn were one goal and one man up, and the game was almost over.

Seems like a perfectly fair decision to me.

Did anyone get selected to buy World Cup tickets today? I never saw where I ended up in the lottery, so I suspect my chances suck.

David Raya, my word. What a save.

Ferran Torres looking like the true starting #9 over Lewy. Just like we all expected.

Only 1-0, but we’re playing some really great football in this first half hour.

Its a tiny sample size but Odegaards been brilliant since returning from his injury. His passing/vision has been crazy.

We should be about 4-0 up, but all of our players are shooting like they’ve got a lead foot. We look very fun.

Luis Figo getting absolutely lambasted every 5 minutes for being in the presidential box is brilliant. 25 years of hate!

Nuno Mendes getting away with the clearest second yellow you'll ever see.

This second half has been tedious. And Trossard is dropping a real stinker.

Eric fucking Dier taking penalties is a choice.

    Hojlund with a brace, too!

Bayern, Real, PSG, Inter, Arsenal...and Qarabag with 2/2.

Olympiacos have looked good, actually. But a deserved win and a chance for some squad players to get minutes.

Not saying this just to rag on United (although it certainly is a bonus), but Rasmus Hojlund looked really good last night for Napoli.

  19. Palace are impossible to hate. I’m over the Eze debacle. I just like their team too much. Yeremy looks like a good signing for them.

Dreading the weekend because of how good they are right now.

Steve Parish needs to pull his finger out and back Glasner otherwise he'll walk.

This is genuinely pathetic from VAR

Based on the rules, it’s handball. But the rules absolutely suck cause it’s deflected.

Also, what happened to the t shirt rule? That hits his upper arm so..?

I don't think you can conclusively say it hit his arm and even if it does, I agree the sleeve rule should be coming in to play?

Apparently the refereeing team on field gave it as a handball - god knows how - so VAR were checking for a factual overturn and couldn't because its inconclusive.

We were rubbish anyway but just annoying.

Oh, I assumed they showed a different angle at some point that was definitive. Didn’t realise that was it lol. But yeh, either way I thought that high up didn’t count.

Plus defenders get the deflection get out, so attackers should too surely? They just love ruling out goals.

The contrast between Villa in either half tonight just tells me someone must have got the Fergie boot treatment from Emery at HT. De Kuip is a foreboding place to go, too.
