As much as I’m enjoying PSG smashing Real Madrid and likely will see the same when they play Chelsea…I’m not looking forward to it happening to Spurs in a few weeks lol

Loved this about the rise of Belgian football. I knew a few bits already, but nothing to this detail. Well worth a read.

Obviously, they've got to do it all again now with the likes of Hazard and KdB being either retired or on the wane.

 

I can definitely see why people think it’s tacky. As for the actual shirt, I really think the botched the overall design. The twin tower/9/11 memes were funny when they announced it.

Let’s just say if it wasn’t Müller, I wouldn’t otherwise consider getting it.

I recently got Saosin's S/T on vinyl as a Furnace Fest exclusive pressing and it's singularly the best sounding vinyl I own.

 

That's cool. I can imagine, by the way, as it's a great record on FLAC even.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen you post in anything outside sports related threads. What brings you to a predominantly music forum to talk sports?

 

When it was AP I posted around the music threads and the front page threads. Once it moved to Chorus I didn’t really like the front page format and pace. And I’m old now so I don’t listen to as much new music haha so I just camp out in the sports section.

 

I've been trying to improve upon my Music/Sports forum ratio but listening to loads of new records like it's peak 2007 just isn't sustainable. At nearly 40, you get stuck in the past with stuff you already know, whether that is bands or labels.

 

Ah yes us old mid 30s folks stuck in their ways! haha I get it. It was just a curiosity, it's always interesting to see different folks pop up in random threads but I've never seen that unsightly bird pop up anywhere :P

still think we need an actual 6, but I do love MGW, and with Madders never being healthy, this is a fantastic signing. Adding more creativity is always good. Curious to see Frank’s preferred lineup, we would have much more offensive depth than we did last year.

 

I think we’ll definitely sign a new 6 once Bissouma is out there door. But I think MGW is an underrated need. Maddison is mostly great but seems to always miss a game or two here and there. Kulu picked up a bad injury toward the end of last season and honestly hasn’t been the most consistent player. That + MGW being another versatile player gives us a lot of flexibility with lineups. Which we’ll need with all the games coming this season. And he’s HG which we are severely lacking in.

 

I’m at 19.5 years as a AP/Chorus user, I think. Became active in the sports threads in 2012. Wild.
