Finished up an episode of The Bear and tuned in to be pleasantly surprised we were already up 1-0. But this game has CONCACAF shithousery waiting to happen all over it with what I’ve seen since.

Just when you think alexi lalas is as detestable as possible, he puts on a cowboy hat with a suit. What an absolute goon.

Mexico should be down to ten and we should have a penalty. Pure CONCACAF.

Wait because there is no USA player trying to play the ball there is no handball? How the fuck does that make any sense?

Apparently there’s a “it’s not a foul if it’s against Tillman” rule in the book tonight

I think he’s onside, but if that wasn’t a handball earlier we each should get one.

Berhalter’s passes are like at 88% pace they need to be.

It’s always the player who didn’t get the second yellow that makes the monster tackle at the end of the game. Unwritten rule.

Mexico just walked the ball up at least 15 yds on that throw in

Reports that Chelsea tried to ask for Max Dowman in the Madueke negotiations and that Arsenal told them to fuck off lmao. The nerve of them.

Anyway, the weird bit is that Max liked yhe report on Insta, and his dad is also in the replies saying he’s not leaving, they’re all Arsenal fans, etc.

I guess as players and their parents get younger, this sort of social media use will be more common, but it’s wild to see players parents being part of the transfer speculation.

First pre-season friendlies start this weekend. Forest, Palace and Sunderland the first clubs back in action. That's come around fast.

Social media training is absolutely essential for clubs to be focusing on based upon some of the things I see. I'm sure it exists already, but lots of "unprofessional-ism" still slips through. I know players are humans and we're suspect to error through our very nature, but it needs to happen to protect them from such things as media frenzies, scrutiny, etc.

Listened to today’s episode of the Arsecast Extra, and they had a big section on the Partey news. Obviously the first time they can legally talk about it.

Really happy (feels the wrong word) that the biggest Arsenal-based media outlet is taking such a hard line on it. They called the club’s stance and actions “pathetic” and said the people who wanted to extend his contract have brought additional shame to the club. Also called out Mikel for his attitudes with Partey compared to Ozil and Aubameyang. Also said the renewal talk had them considering giving up their season tickets.

Not a particularly fun listen, but well worth it if you are interested in the actual feeling among the fanbase. And it will be heard by a LOT of the fans, so their opinions matterx
