Had a successful Endoscopy this morning. Blockage removed. Awaiting further details but it seems fine. I've been in hospital for just under a month, it's flew by!

 

Will that mean you can go home soon? That's a bloody long stint in a (presumably) UK hospital!

Having my gall bladder removed tomorrow and then it depends on the reaction after. Sometimes it can be just another overnight stay.

Honestly, the hospital hasn't been terrible. Can't critique how good the staff are, from the surgeons to the porters who take you places. The food is relatively fine, too.
