Joao Palinha might be going back to Fulham, a year after basically begging to go to Bayern lol.

 

Spurs want to bring in an experienced DM to replace Bissouma while Gray and Bergvall keep developing. Pahlinha seems like the perfect option for that role.

 

I'd imagine Palhinha will have plenty of offers. I see the beauty in a return to Fulham/Marco Silva, but he's good enough to have bigger aspirations. Maybe he doesn't want that in a World Cup year, though?

 

I mean, Fulham are a top half PL team based in one of the nicest parts of London, where he’s already adored by the fans and he knows he’ll play every week and can make a difference.

I can see why he’d want to go back, tbh.

 

This is all under the beauty of returning to Fulham "umbrella" for me. The fact remains, though, that he wanted to test himself at Bayern. Maybe he has the desire for a tier higher still? No disrespect to Fulham!

You're not missing much in the Portugal-Netherlands game. Netherlands are down to 10 men - Mark van Bommel's son has been sent off - and Portugal have had a terrible penalty miss. Scrappy, not much quality.

 

Chermiti off to Stoke on loan. If Mark Robins can get a tune out of him like he did with a certain Gyökeres then I'd be happy. It must mean we're bringing a CF in, too, as we've got like 14 senior players pmsl.
