But in my mind I find

On the other hand, City and Chelsea seem to have decent starts.

Getting my digs in early, because I'm not at all confident we're going to kick on this coming season. Even the transfer rumours for us are a bit tumbleweed. Main targets are Elanga and Joao Pedro, with very little else mentioned. Given that we basically knew for months before the summer that we were in with a good shot at Europe and we theoretically would have a good budget, it's a bit worrying that we've not made any decisive moves.

I read somewhere that the fiscal year for clubs starts on July 1st so that's why some clubs who have to care about PSR will wait until then before making moves.

For example, Everton only signed Alcaraz on a permanent deal because the option was agreed in advance last fiscal year.

I also learnt that we're paying Calvert-Lewin wages until July 1st, too. He's not officially a free agent until then.

  8. Kudus and Simons the latest attacker names to pop up for Spurs. Honestly, can’t see either happening. Would be very happy with either guy, but Simons will be expensive with competition. Kudus is probably in our price range but doubt we do business like that with West Ham.

  10. That game in particular is a pathetic turnout. But it’s also a team from South Korea playing against a team from South Africa at a stadium in Orlando, Florida.

I read the games are averaging 36k per game which isn’t bad at all considering there are a lot of smaller teams playing in the weekday afternoons.

I still think it’s dumb that we’re hosting the tournament but I don’t think it’s been quite as bad as what’s being talked about.

The tournament has been worth it for this:

Also, I’d imagine scheduling several games during workday afternoons probably isn’t ideal given the lack of mandatory annual leave for many people?

Just built a cheeky FPL team based on last season's end of season prices. Far too early to be brazen, but I'm going to win the lot!

4 year ban for Mudryk (remember him?) according to reports. Will he be committed enough to preserving his fitness through that period? Seems like a career ending ban.

3 years left at 28 years old. Great model, Boehly!

  20. I wonder if there’s language in the contract for them to terminate it?

  21. MrCon

I was trying to describe myself to someone

I imagine there is. Didn't they not only terminate, but seek damages against Mutu for cocaine back in the day? That was only a 7 month ban too. I would assume that, so long as the club aren't involved in the providing the substance, he'll be gone.

A 4 year ban seems extremely strong though. Is that the normal doping ban length? I thought it was normally about 2.

I know that England U21's are missing Palmer, MLS, and Wharton, but this has been pretty poor. Look a bit blunt up top.

  25. I’m now less worried about him leaving. Never know until the window is officially closed haha but I think Levy is going to do everything possible to keep him.
