    Just checked. 10-0. Jesus.

Who do Auckland think they are, Southampton?

  3. PSG and Atletico playing at the Rose Bowl should be cool but I don’t know if the crowd will be there as expected with all the shit going on here.

Vanat for the Ukraine looked quite handy earlier.

No chance we're signing Woltemade :brokenheart:

    KNEW this would happen haha

  6. Has he been linked anywhere? Looks good.

We were linked before the u21 Euros even kicked off, I told @orangehorizon about it in this very thread.

The last I read, Chelsea are involved now.

The amount of times this scummer is being annihilated in the replies has aided my recovery! It's medicine.

The Spurs / Branthwaite rumors won’t go away so I’m starting to think we’re serious about it.

    LCB: Van de Ven, Branthwaite
    RCB: Romero, Danso, Dragusin

That would be incredible depth. But tbh I don’t see why Branthwaite would be up for it. I guess VDV is an injury concern. And maybe the idea is that we’d actually be adding another starter quality LCB so we don’t have to play VDV as much and it’ll be a real rotation.

Frank likes to use a back 3 at times so that’d be another opportunity for him I suppose.

And then there Vuskovic. He’s only 18 or 19 years old but there’s talk like he’s already good enough to be on the first time.

Jarrad would easily displace VdV as 1st choice.

Loooooooooool. Apparently they introduced the players one by one to an empty fucking stadium haha

It's as forced as the Las Vegas F1. Vomit inducing.

Looks like Kyle Walker's agent has been feeding journos lines tonight!

If anything, Las Vegas makes TOTAL sense for F1. A new money glamour race to replace the old glamour race at Monaco now that the cars are too big/fast. Also, it was in the works and widely known around the teams for like a decade lol.

This is just insane. Why is even being held in the US, a country that mostly couldn’t give a shit and is hosting another tournament at the same time lol?

I think it’s being held here as a World Cup test run like the old Confed Cups, right?

like isn’t Saudi hosting the 2029 CWC?

  18. No one in Atlanta wants to go watch LAFC on a Monday afternoon lol

It is kinda funny that Miami got to play in Miami but LA had to fly to Atlanta.

  20. Chicago getting their own stadium and it looks great.

I really wish Charlotte would do this. We average around 30k fans per game but it’s in a 70k capacity stadium so it looks sad.

United about to fall for the scam of overpaying for an unproven ST from the Bundesliga, it seems...

Someone could make a joke about Harry Kane after a post like that

Obviously the misses stand out the most, and generational talents like De Brunye and Haaland exist, but it does feel like Bundesliga produces more misses than hits.

Unless I'm forgetting someone obvious, I don't think United have had many, or any, hits when buying. Kagawa, Mkhitaryan, Schweinsteiger, Sancho - all flops. Sabitzer was okay for a loan player, jury out on De Ligt, and Mazraoui was good this year.

Then wider, it feels like STs in particular underwhelm after leaving - Werner, Nkunku, Kolo Muani (though he did okay on loan at Juve), Havertz, Jovic, Haller.

Just makes me very nervous that United are now linked with a player with a €100m price tag that has had 1(?) good season?

  24. Did Joao Pedro do something bad? I keep seeing fans calling a pedo or something along those lines.

Yeah, I think it’s fair to say there have been more misses among high profile signings but there are obviously too many factors to account for why that might have happened than just…. Bundesliga. There are also quite a few of under the radar talents who’ve found a steady role in their squads.

And fwiw, the BuLi to City transfers have been a bit more successful than those players who’ve gone to United. Off the noggin, Gundogan, Akanji (both former BVB, btw), Gvardiol, and time will tell with Marmoush. There may have been some city flops buuuut idk, doesn’t fit my narrative ;)
