  1. Oh I missed the guard of honor thing. I’d be so mad having to do that as an Arsenal player lol

Good second half performance until Merino decided to get sent off. Martinelli through the middle was good. I guess without Merino, that’ll have to be the case next week too.

  3. Spurs sitting in 17th with 2 games left and have a positive goal diff lol why are we the way we are

I really think Amorim needs to speak less. Saying United are “losing the feeling of being a big club”, and saying the problems are too big, etc. I don’t doubt it’s all true from his perspective, but I wonder if saying it publicly is a good idea.

On the other hand, the idea that he’s already calling up Sporting again is quite funny.

Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid is a done deal. Nobody saw that one coming...

Is Madrid are really offloading Rodrygo and Lucas Vasquez as the rumors suggest, I wonder who he’ll go after. He’s got quite the puzzle to fix on how to get Mbappe and Vini, the two players who walk the most in La Liga, involved in more of the play or it’ll continue to be insanely unbalanced.

Looks like Trossard also picked up an injury yesterday. Fuck knows what kind of team we put out against Newcastle.

No Havertz, no Jesus, no Trossard, no Merino, no Rice, no Jorginho, no Gabriel, no Timber, no Tomiyasu.

Maybe Calafiori LB if he’s fit, MLS in midfield. Martinelli up front with… someone at LW lol.

Call me old fashioned, but I don’t like this level of banter coming from official team accounts. Fans, go nuts. Players, talk all the shit you’d like. Something about a team’s socials acting like that feels both low class and lame.

I don’t really care either way, but a club founded in 2015 talking about “history” is genuinely hilarious

  20. I think team accounts trolling other teams has gone overboard. It’s non stop. And It’s feels like more of a problem in the states. But I could be wrong.

I think it’s pretty funny and should be treated the same way as any other more established corny ass footy club banter (Spursday, St. Totteringham’s Day, etc). Don’t want your opponents Gen Z marketing manager to roast you? Don’t lose.

She just passed away. I’m glad I just did something stupid and brought her in to watch the game with me. Makes it even better we won.

This is something that bugs me about the PL. It feels like the same 6-8 teams are qualifying for the European places every year. When I compare that with the Bundesliga, if we take the last 10-15 years, most of the current Bundesliga teams have played in Europe at some point. Even some second-tier teams have. The fight for the title might be a tad more boring compared to the PL, but everything else is way more open here.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

We've sent 14 different teams in the last 10 years, I think, including some who have been relegated and promoted in that window.

Could be as much as 16 if Brentford qualify this year.
