You can technically get 7 or 8 into the UCL now. I forget the official breakdown how. 11 across the three European competitions is also possible mathematically, but never actually going to happen.

Damn I really wish I would’ve posted at the start of the game that Leicester would score today lol

If Utd or Spurs win the Europa league and finish outside top 5 they get a spot and same if Villa win the Champions League and finish out of the top 5

  4. I get that. But I was wondering if they’d bump a top 5 team out in those scenarios.

Nah, I think ever since that screwed Everton they made it so that can’t happen again.

I know it’s against LEI but O’Riley could have a hat trick today and he looks the healthiest/best he’s looked this year.

Kinda feel like on another day, Everton could’ve easily been awarded two penalties this half.

No, 6 or 7 places but then I think it is less Europa/Conference places.

You know it's a dead rubber when we have Partey at RB, Tierney at LB, and Zinchenko in midfield.

Only missing a Sterling start for all the real "don't watch this match" signals.

Sky commentators talking about Tierney saying "you'd expect him to leave in the summer"

Good to know they pay attention :crylaugh:

“There is no evidence that the other players ever gambled on soccer matches but their names emerged from depositions given by Tonali and ***ioli and analysis of their devices.

The players are being investigated for using illegal platforms for online poker and betting on other sports. As such they do not risk a ban, but instead a maximum fine of €250 ($284) from Italian authorities.”

I know Chorus auto asterisks that word singularly, but kinda silly to do it in other words.

Not saying this is a boring game, but at halftime they showed those kids who take penalties against Gunnersaurus…

Brighton boys failed me today. First time I bring any of them into my FPL squad in a while and this is how they thank me?

Hey all, not chimed in here for a while.

I cant beleive i am sharing this. I shed a tear at a football match today (first time in my life i reckon)! My local team St Mirren secured top 6 in the Scottish league split. It all depended on us winning , and another match being a draw with kick offs at the same time as each other. The roar in the stadium when the other match finished a draw and the players sensing what could happen was surreal. 87min goal to take the lead. Players asking fans in the stand at FT the scores and jumping in to hug fans. Wow.

I had wrote off our chances of top 6, and wow. Its absolutely mental. If we lost the match we were pretty much approaching a relegation dog fight (thats how tight the bottom of the league is). Now top 6, we cant finish less than 6th due to the table splitting.

Enough of the boring scottish football chat!

Not boring at all. I actually enjoy these kinds of stories way more than some random post about the PL.

And also, it reminded me of the two times my local team was on the brink of relegation on the last match day, and we needed to win and also our direct competitors to not win simultaneously. In both instances it was decided in the last minutes of the game. To this day both of these games are amongst my most memorable football experiences.
