Seems like Brazil and Argentina got extra spicy last night.

 

Can't see them getting that much, especially once the inevitable relegation is confirmed. That's pretty much Bale to Madrid money and what has Dibling offered to command that? Bale was tearing the league apart.

I work at a university, and I set up a staff v student game against the student football team.
I am worse at football than I remember, I am more unfit than I remember being, I ache all over, and I missed a penalty.

My main excuse is that I played in the staff v student netball match on Monday, nothing to do with me neglecting my fitness for several years.

 

Was it a 90 minute game? If so, I'd go easy on yourself. Even the pros struggle through those!

@Nick almost agreed to run a full marathon with me in 2022. Still trying to find a way to hold him to it.

 

Sorry! Thought I'd way in with that program I'm aware of as I sensed @Platy is conscious about his fitness. It's a great introduction being pushed by the NHS tbf.

 

C25K is great. I did it years ago as a way to get into running.

It’s not just that, but the fact that they knowingly played him with an injury and then did not do a proper medical check prior to sending him on a 12 hour flight back. The argument is around negligence, not that the game was meaningless.
