Man I didn’t realize I worked for better bosses than the Glazers

I refuse to amend my phones autocorrect for a player still contracted to United

Gotta say, the Glazers have lucked out finding Sir Jim. Someone naive enough to invest over £1b in a failing asset, and being the public face owning the horrendous decisions having to be taken to avoid bankruptcy.

Meanwhile they sit across the pond collecting dividends and eventually double dipping on a cash out of yet more billions when the full club is sold.

That will pay for just under three weeks of Casemiro!

Are there any stories of Man U players stepping in to offer money to assuage any of this or am I just being naive?

I’d have too much guilt as a player for that club while all of this was going down to not try to do something.

  8. Is the quickest fix for United to sell off several players and just embrace sucking for a couple years? They would still avoid relegation. Probably have some unexpected academy players breakout. And then be able to starting add higher quality guys once everything is more stable.

Definitely seems like cutting costs that will just piss off everyone in effort to tread water is a terrible gameplan.

Personally I think they suck it up and get what they can for a lot of the current squad, just make sure they’re off the books. On top of that they need to rebuild the squad off of Dorgu level signings, 7 or 8 guys in that 30m range. Next couple of years really focus on building that style of play, team culture, improving the individuals within the squad, get the money right.

That’s all best case scenario, but I think 7/8 outgoings coupled with the same number of incomings is a must just to build a coherent squad. This is where you’ll have to trust the recruitment team to bring in the perfect profiles of guys that ready and hungry to take that next step and are athletic enough to immediately come in and perform in the Premier League. A squad of younger and eager to impress talents that aren’t egotistic man children will suit Amorim a lot better and really afford him a group he can successfully lead and inspire to become something great.

Bruno (can't remember if on his own or with the squad) offered to pay for the FA Cup final coaches last season but wasn't allowed/ the offer was rejected by higher ups. Imagine the squad have since been told in no uncertain terms that offers like that won't be entertained.

The trouble is UTD are an end level club for most players. They aim to get there. The reason players shine at clubs like Brighton and Bournemouth is because they know it is a stepping stone to a bigger club

  13. This is why I’m scared to oust Spurs ownership. There are obvious reasons why fans want that but it can always get worse.

Turkish football is nuts. Jose is being sued for racism after saying Turkish refs are shit lol

It’s both a tricky situation and a hard sell for any incoming player, the hope is that being part of a clean slate full rebuild beginning of a true new project helps?

secondly, that article is incredibly shortsighted when all fire should be aimed at the Glazers. Very naive to get caught throwing stones at the Glazers’ own human shields and verified fall guys.

As a Man City supporter, I love that the club just outside of city limits is being run into the ground.

As a USA-based supporter I kinda wish they could gain some sense of being a truly top global club.

Michael Oliver is so bad, it makes you wonder how low the bar to being a ref truly is.

Copa del Rey semi starting with a bang. Barely had time to get the score tracker up while I'm working and already down 2-0.
