Considering the lineup we have out there, that half wasn’t too terrible. Passing has been awful and it’s giving Newcastle too many chances.

 

Bergvall looks like he's got the hunger/fight needed to help Spurs through this difficult period.

 

I mock Tim Sherwood relentlessly, and he mostly deserves it, but he made a good point about Porro pushing high too early in the build up to the goal. Basically left Gordon in acres of space for a gamble on a 50/50.

I kinda get it. Bergvall played well but Newcastle have one of the better and more physical midfields in the league. They were overpowering up most times we tried to buildup. And we’ve maintained possession much better since the changes.

 

How did Brennan Johnson manage to fuck that shot up so badly? He HAD to hit the target.

 

Our attackers not being able to finish has been just as big of an issue as the depleted defense. It’s frustrating.

 

I’ll be honest, I tuned it thinking this might be a glorious hatewatch, but Spurs have been decent.
