Spurs bring me nothing but misery.

Very excited to be back at the bridge next weekend, last time I was there the team was terrible should be a bit more excitement this go round

  3. I’m worried Ange rushed Romero and VDV back because he’s feeling pressure. Hopefully Levy stays patient. Sacking Ange doesn’t do any good.

Just under 1.5m net transfers out for Mbeumo in Fantasy in the past 4 game weeks, but it seems everyone has him in our league apart from me. Really need Bowen to turn up tomorrow. Hopefully he starts as a CF with Antonio out and Fullkrug not ready to start games!

Mbuemo is good value imo, not sure why people would move on from him

not to say I haven’t thought about, but then I look at the options to bring in and nobody persuades me to pull the trigger

I liked it better when Chelsea were bad, if I’m honest

I think he's had like 1 shot on target in those aforementioned weeks, and that was his goal! Credit to you and others for sticking with him. I think Brentford will continue to score goals at home fwiw. Away something has got to give.

The whole Ashworth sacking is wild to me, I can’t really say we know enough or it would even be simple enough for me to have a take on it. Just going to quietly back Amorim and the team and hope for the best.

Made peace with the idea that the league was gone a while back, but yesterday confirmed it. To win a PL, you need in-form players, squad guys who make a difference, and to remain mostly injury free. We haven’t had any of that, but them’s the breaks sometimes. We play well against the big teams, but aren’t consistent enough.

As an aside, people who don’t watch Arsenal probably don’t realise how bad Jesus is now. He hasn’t looked close to what he was before his injury. Can’t shoot, doesn’t get involved in the build-up, looks mentally shot, and is bullied by defenders. We need to just get rid of him immediately and bring in a new striker.

Jonathan David will be cheap as chips in January.

    Or DCL on a free?

  14. The fan response has been more supportive of Ange than you’d think. Still some out there asking for him to be sacked but there will always be those people.

The players also seem to really back him. Romero liked some post saying he’d ask to be sold if we got rid of Ange. So it’s nice to see that he hasn’t lost the team.

The article also mentioned the club acknowledging all the injuries and the willingness to let Ange work through all of that + backing him in the upcoming windows.

We’ll see how much of this holds true through the busy December/January schedule.

  15. We need 3 signings in January. Which is a lot for the winter window. But we absolutely need a defender, CM, and an attacker.

The best thing for Spurs would be if they got Thomas Frank, who I think would be perfect for them. He’d actually make them a challenger for the top four again, imo. So I hope they keep Ange.

  17. He’s definitely be a candidate

No manager is coming in right now with this squad and doing anything great lol

Ange has his faults for sure but the construction of this team is still ass. Bunch of young players we don’t play, players who can’t stay healthy, etc.

We have zero depth and anytime a single player goes down everything is out of whack. Do I think Ange’s system is a bit predictable and won’t be sustainable? Sure. Do I think we need to fire yet another manager and keep the revolving door going instead of holding Levy and players accountable? Nah.

Purely from an on-field view point Ange feels like the positive side of the Roberto de zerbi coin. Rigid play style that doesn’t really adapt to the situation but he’s an affable dude where as RDZ is not

    This was definitely Romero lol

It’s rare to see the locker room coming out in support of the manager and against the board but I’m glad it’s happening. Put pressure on the billionaires to actually invest.
