Lost a power struggle over new manager choice? Or refused to buy in to the decision? Some journos are saying he disagreed fundamentally over the switch to 3ATB, given it's directly opposite to having a top down club structure to then change the whole system based on the manager, so could be he made an ultimatum and lost. Others saying he's being blamed for decisions made over the summer, but I find that hard to believe given he barely had any (official) role in any of it.
