    It's all hell.

As a type 1 diabetic, Vardy's diet would kill me lol

Should have known to not make a Spurs victory the anchor leg for the three leg parlays that I threw in today.

  7. Poor result but not a poor performance. Unfortunate to not score more goals but that’s what happens when you try to walk it into the net every time.

Tottenham really trying to fuck up my “Leicester are going to get less points than 07/08 Derby” predictions on the first weekend :tear:

Vardy is a genuine legend if you ask me. Joins a Championship Leicester side at age 25 from non league Fleetwood Town, has a first season so bad he almost quits football entirely. Next year he’s bang on it as Leicester are promoted to the Prem as champs of the Champ. Follows that up with a chaotic season for player and club as they barely survive. Season after is the miracle year. Next handful of years are marked by him rejecting Arsenal after the title win, proving himself as a proper top class striker, a short but sweet few years in England squads, and spearheading Leicester to an FA Cup win. For his swan song he sticks with Leicester as they immediately jump back up following a relegation and starts the season with a goal off the bench.

All of this while being one of the most insufferable dick heads imaginable, pretty sure he’s living a life swap movie plot and that out there somewhere is a man meant to be playing PL football but is instead stuck living the construction worker/dead beat dad/scratch off addict life that Vardy was born for. Everyone has met the vodka red bull skittles/chat shit get banged character type in the life and can attest to the fact Vardy has defied all odds.

As a type 2 diabetic, Vardy’s diet might not kill me, but it will lead me to go blind, get a foot or two amputated, maybe have a stroke. Only the chill stuff.

Truly frustrating game. Played well. Can’t finish. Same shit, different season.

To start the 24/25 season a Juventus squad managed by Thiago Motta and featuring the sons of George Weah and Lillian Thuram beat a newly promoted side that is managed by Cesc Fabregas and features Pepe Reina and Raphael Varane in the squad. Time really does just keep marching forward, huh?

    hmmm

@Zoshchenko leads the Chorus FPL after GW1.

I'm still bitter about the Eze free kick being ruled out.

Still pissed Liverpool kept a CS after Quansah was subbed off. 5pts gone there at least. What's worse is he'll fall in price which is quite a big swing this early in the season (it's essentially -0.5) so I've got a decision to make.

Pulled my team together with half an hour before the deadline. Got lucky with a salah captaincy pick getting me nearly half my teams points.

Although looking ahead my "cheap" pics to get a team together within budget look like my strong start will be short lived!!!

Sounds to me like it’s struck exactly the nerve it’s supposed to.

He’ll do the same with every team this season, he’s on a farewell tour and he wants to rile up everyone. I love it and can’t wait for him to wind up fellow Arsenal fans lol.

Was thinking similar last night. It seems him and Maddison get in each others way on the pitch,
