This has been the big story in women's soccer, but it looks like it carries over into men's soccer now too

Let's hope we get Eintracht Lindstrom and not Napoli Lindatrom (even though 3 coaches in a year probably didn't help his cause.)

Saw this and thought it perfectly summed up why Arsenal fans love ESR. Most clubs and fanbases that have been through bad times have these kind of players.

Emery had shat the bed, Ljungberg couldn’t turn it around, and Arteta was a young manager struggling. We were lower mid-table. Then ESR comes in and offers skill, pace, end product, and passion.

It’s a different kind of love than with someone who wins you trophies at your best, like Henry, Bergkamp, Viera, but it’s no less special.

  20. This sucks for Brentford. I don’t know how this injury affects the Toney situation. He’s in his last year and is clearly going to leave. But now they don’t have a starting striker…

I can see Brentford keeping Toney until at least the January transfer window. It's quite similar to what we're expecting to do with Calvert-Lewin who won't be signing a new deal when he's got 1 year left to run. They're too crucial to how both teams play without adequate replacements readily available.

Nico Williams is set to make his decision today apparently. He could do something very funny if he chooses to stay, considering Nike has plastered his face all over their flagship branch in Barcelona lol.
