Mikel has been trying to get him all summer lol. Apparently he doesn’t want to leave Spain, or San Sebastián if he can. Which is fair, but interesting to see him being used to bait United fans and not us now lol.

 

Time for me to plug the Fantasy league again. I've noticed last season's champion @JM95, amongst others, haven't joined yet:

Also, I'd like to note that If you're a member of this site that is perhaps new to FPL, want to join but are understandably hesitant, I'm sure myself and others can offer some tips. Honestly, it's a very fun (and addictive) gateway into the sport in itself due to the research and competitiveness levels required to play.

 

On that note, has anyone seen the FantasyEFL which has launched today?

I'm curious about it, but don't follow the EFL as closely so would probably end up abandoning it a few weeks into the season. Some very interesting rules though - 7 players in a squad, unlimited transfers each week, no player values, picking 2 teams per week in addition to your squad.

 

Joined the league and did my initial team. Picking defenders is difficult.

 

I saw that mentioned, but for very similar reasoning to yours (not following EFL closely = abandoning) I didn't really look too much into it.

 

This is so weird to me. If Mikel is such a big fan, why didn’t be play him much after his MotM performance in the league in late April?

Obviously, this could be a way to extracting more money from Palace, but if Emile is to stay he HAS to play more. We’ve literally seen his talent and high ceiling.

He’s my favourite after Saka, but for his own good he should go if he can’t be assured of a proper role.

 

Always been a fan of ESR. I get Arsenal fans wanting to keep him, obviously. But I hope he gets a move to a club where he can start more regularly. Palace would be a great landing spot as well. Especially if it made things easier for Spurs to sign Eze (but I realize it could also open the door for Eze to Arsenal lol).

 

I gotta get on this in the next week or so. I was like Haaland and took the winter time off; unlike him I never came back into form.

Hopefully being in school will help me remember to pick a team every match week.

 

Yeah I’ve read for years about how he doesn’t want to leave Sociedad and tbh I don’t think he suits us at all at all. Would work better at Arsenal.

Tbh this would also be a really good move for him. But I wonder if him being linked to three London clubs is a coincidence, or just because he doesn’t want to move.

If I had to guess the Zubi links are purely to hurry PSG up on getting the Ugarte deal done, Ashworth and the new team seem hellbent on getting everything done as early as possible which is a wonderful change from a regime that literally couldn’t handle working on more than one deal at a time.

 

Fabulous way to annoy me after such a nice summer so far.
