Rumours about Joao Felix going to Aston Villa.

Having lived in Lisbon, Madrid, and west London, man is gonna have the biggest culture shock in the world when he encounters Digbeth on a Saturday night lol.

He'll always have Cadbury's World lol

  4. Richarlison to Saudi looks a lot more likely than it did a month or so ago. If that happens I’d expect us to swing big at ST.

Toney or is that just pure laziness on my part?

  6. Toney would be fine. Gyorekes is more of what I was thinking though.

Weirdly, I have never been, despite living nearby for almost a decade (with some gaps).

I actually live so close right now that it’s simply insane that I haven’t been lol.

Amazing! I'm fairly similar in the way that I've never been to the Vimto factory even though it's just down the road lol.

  10. City now reportedly going for Eze, right after talks of KDB leaving for Saudi. So that probably ends Tottenham’s pursuit of Eze.

The KDB to Saudi was proven false the next day from sources there.

Contract until 2028, Chelsea already pushing him around to move him on. Crazy club

Apparently they're also in for the Villareal keeper Jorgensen. How many keepers do they need? Sanchez and Petrovic are contracted until 2030, not to mention the youth cohort that includes Gaga Slonina. Kepa is still on the books!

in a different universe, i am a surplus to requirements keeper for a big club, making an easy 35k/week doing fuck all

I'm pretty sure he doesn't even get to experience match-day squads anymore. Literally goes to training to have a few shots fired at him lol

Lot of talk about Wan Bissaka to West Ham and United bringing in Mazraoui as a replacement. At the prices quoted for both I think that’s a no brainer.

  22. Blackburn looking to sign John Ruddy or Tim Krul as their major signing. This is how exciting my summer is right now. Kill me.

I remember you supporting them back in the absolutepunk era and the Rovers were still in the Prem. Good on you for sticking with, even if it’s just the curse of being a supporter. Blackburn’s last stint in the PL is such a defining era for me, with clubs like Wigan and Bolton especially going through hardships since then. Always had a major soft spot for Blackburn during the MGP/Bentley/Benni McCerthy years and would love to see them back up in the big league.

  24. It's been hard, haha. It's funny because becoming a supporter was such a random thing and I have the curse of loyalty. After watching the 2006 World Cup (I was 16 years old), I decided to start watching the PL. The first PL game I ever watched was the mid-week replay of an insignificant Blackburn/Reading game in 2007. I didn't know anything about anything back then and it was a back-and-forth game that ended 3-3 (I found a video of Matt Derbyshire's go-ahead goal late in the game, amazing that it's on YouTube). I remember looking up Blackburn and seeing they were a historic club and one of the very few to win the PL. I immediately knew they would be a great club to follow because I also didn't want to be a frontrunner.

Those first few seasons were awesome. They were always in the semis or quarters of the League Cup or the FA Cup, and I remember one season either 07 or 08 they were only like six points away from qualifying for Europe. And then after the Venky's stuff, it all went downhill and I just couldn't stop loving them despite it. At the same time though, it allows me to really enjoy the PL because I can enjoy all of the games without the stress of having my own team there, haha. It just kills me inside though when I see the club continue to struggle financially and the ownership really aren't doing much. Szmodicz was the Championship's top scorer last year and so far he's staying, but they're going to have to sell him eventually (Ipswich have already made two offers that were rejected) and this season looks like it'll be a relegation battle for them since they have said they aren't making any big summer signings.

I was planning this coming season to visit Ewood Park for a match and I had always hoped that I'd be going to a PL game but I sadly don't know if I'll see that anytime soon.

Not a bad signing. Relatively cheap, will be a good squad player and allow us to rest Rice for the insanely packed season we’re going to have.
